Sessions at this age are short, playful and led entirely by your baby’s mood. Peek-a-boo, favourite toys and plenty of breaks — we chase the giggles rather than a pose list.

Come prepared, stay relaxed

A change of clothes, a favourite toy and anything that reliably makes your baby laugh. Simple outfits in soft solid tones photograph best at this age.

Before your session

What age is best?

Any time from around three months, once they are holding their head up and starting to smile on cue. Sitter sessions at six to nine months are especially lovely.

What if my baby is fussy on the day?

Completely expected. We pause, feed, cuddle and start again. Nothing is rushed, and no session is ever cut short because of a bad mood.

How long does a session take?

Around an hour. At this age shorter is genuinely better — we finish while they are still enjoying themselves.
